I'm not sleeping well. I think I got 4 hours last night. I got about the same yesterday before I crashed in the afternoon. I blame the new job. Got myself a security guard job, watching some warehouse for 12 hours through the night. Very boring. But it affords me oppotunities to do other things while working. Already completed 3 Gunpla kits while i was on the clock. I'll only upload Gunpla kits I've fully painted so you'll be waiting a while on those. :P

It's been a while since I posted. Combination of the job and generally not doing anything art wise is probably to blame. I'm going to try and get this journal updated every month though. To try and keep myself busy.

I'm going to order up a batch of Gunpla next paycheck. Already ordered a Master Grade Exia, that'll be my first MG for about 2 years, I think my last was the Zeta 2.0. Christ, that long? Need to watch all of Gundam 00 as well. Man I'm behind.

Restarted the Proton Pack build not long before the game was released, I had started making it out of wood, but found it difficult to work with, so I opted for plasticard, it's a bit cheaper and much easier to work with. Expect progress soon.

In other news though. MGS4 came and went. Nice game, but didn't have as much impact on me as MGS3. Was nice to see Big Boss in glorious HD rendering though. :)

While on MGS, The fanfilm community has gotten some nice treats too. MG: Outer Heaven was released last month, [link] which was a nice attempt with nice locations. But could have done with a military advisor and better fight choragraphy. Still, the script was fairly solid and kept the characters, in character.
Metal Gear Solid: The Mongoose Incident has finally got off it's arse and got part 2 ready for release, on the 24th. Tomorrow. Hopefully they release it early in the day so I can watch it at work. The first part was released sometime ago and was rather good, even if there was little snake in it. The second looks gritty and true to the franchise. [link] they have 3 trailers for the second part so far and it looks like something to look forward to.

Finally, we have a release date for Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy! This one has been talked about the most and certainly deserves it. The production values are quite low at $13,000 but you wouldn't think it. Looks like something hollywood certainly shove down our throats, but I doubt they could top this. They even managed to get the vocalist who did the theme song for the original MGS for the soundtrack, they have a few trailers and a preview of the soundtrack on their website, which has a countdown for the release of the film. [link] In short, it looks awesome. I can hardly wait.

The doctor keeps telling me that knives are not suppose to stick in you like that, but I tell him he's never enjoyed the thrilling world of razorblade diving at the rust pit.
